The seeds for A Midsouth Wedding were planted in 2000, at my own wedding. Some wedding party changes had me creating two bouquets out of corsages before putting on my dress. In 2002, I was put in charge of a friend's wedding flowers. I worked with her closely to find out what she wanted, then made it happen. It was my first complete wedding. Soon after that, I started getting calls from other friends, then friends of friends, then complete strangers who had seen my work. In September 2003, A Midsouth Wedding began.

I have three little boys and I decided to work from home. This has worked out that I don't have the overhead of a shop to have to pass on to the bride, so I can charge less. Also, I have read and heard horror stories, so I try to make sure that there is a lot of communication. I do upfront pricing and make sure everything is in writing. I recommend you see as many florists as possible to find who you feel comfortable with. I do not require a deposit to reserve your date and I only do one wedding a weekend. There is no service minimum, and no wedding is too small.

Most importantly, I know this is your wedding day, one of the most special days of your life. You deserve flowers that are a reflection of you.
